Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she is happier now than she has been in the last 20 years. Despite her famously rocky love life, Aniston, 40, has said that she is in a better place in her life now than she has ever been before.
The Baster star said: “If I [had] felt as good at 30 as I do at 40, I would have probably enjoyed myself a hell of a lot more.” But asked where she sees herself in 20 years, she insisted: “I don’t. I don’t ever look past tomorrow.”
After a pause, she joked: “Actually I know next Tuesday I have a premiere, so I’m looking that far.” The former Friends actress was promoting her new movie Love Happens, and revealed a personal theme for her in the movie is “love and staying in the room when things get tough” – leaving many to wonder if she was also referring to her own private life. “That’s always I think the big challenge for people,” she said.
“Love brings up everything unlike itself – it’s the challenges, it’s your fears, it’s your self-doubts, the other person’s doubts… “And it’s not easy – we’re squirming our way out of here because not everyone wants to deal with that.”
