After years of starring in romantic comedies, actress Jennifer Aniston is hoping to step behind the camera and direct her first feature film.

The former “Friends” star told reporters in London that she was thinking about branching out after making more than six movies since the end of the popular TV comedy in 2004.

“I have a project in development I’m going to direct. After you get enough movies under your belt you sit back and go, ‘What’s next?’,” Aniston, 41, was quoted as saying by Britain’s The Sun newspaper on Monday.

Jennifer Aniston gets naked for a perfume ad. The former wife of Brad Pitt has grabbed the attention of fans with a coy photo taken an the rocks of a beach with Aniston wearing only a blanket to promote her new perfume.  Aniston describes the fragrance as “a nonperfume perfume” entitled Lolavie.  The scent reportedly embodies Aniston’s trademark natural and easygoing style.

Aniston went on the record for WWD magazine stating that she “want[s] people to go, ‘What is that? You smell great!’ ”   Aniston also stated: “But most of all I wanted it to smell natural.”

Pretend Wife, also now known as Just Go With It or The Untitled Adam Sandler Project, began filming in L.A. last  week.

As previously reported, the movie’s cast includes Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Brooklyn Decker and Dave Matthews, all of whom will move to Maui next month for seven weeks and then wrap up the shoot in Kauai. Nicole Kidman will also appear in an uncredited role as Rea Ann Devlin.

The movie is about a guy (Sandler) who enlists a woman (Aniston) and her kids to help him get the girl of his dreams (Decker). Its due in theaters sometime next year.
